觸覺是最個人化的感官，聽覺是一種遠距觸摸的方式。

「觸覺文本」重視身體與地方的現地實踐，我們將以身體作為測量、探觸的介面，行走、觸摸、採音、重返風景。從「感覺地理學」與「聲景生態學」出發，將地方中無形的「聲景」轉譯為觸覺物質，近一步成為文化檔案。「觸覺文本」的聲景練習，將以聲景生態之父Murray Schafer所著《世界調音》（The Soundscape, 1977）的練習提案作為實踐指引，展開身體在地方城市中的聲景實踐。並參照考現學的街道採集、物件圖繪紀錄等方法，進行觸覺拓印文本。身體行走、城市觸摸所生產的視覺、聲音、物件檔案，是一種從現世時空中考掘歷史文本經驗的痕跡。
本課程對準城市行走、感官民族誌實踐，非本所同學亦可共同參與。參與者須完成一觸覺文本，期末時將於現地場所展示，以城市聽視觸行走分享。
「觸覺文本」以四階段進行創作實踐：

生態聲景 ━━━ 尋聲定標、街道物件作為聲圖、聲譜
地方音採集 ━━━ 班雅明之後：說故事的人
